Heisey Museum Identification Policy

* For identifications there is a $5.00 fee per item. This fee is waived for members of HCA. Please send photos and measurements via e-mail

(curator@heiseymuseum.org) or snail mail or, if a photo is already posted on the web, provide the URL. To receive replies to requests made via snail mail, please enclose a SASE and mail to the address listed above.

Payment options include MasterCard, VISA, Check, Money Order, Cash or PayPal. DO NOT send payment information via e-mail. If you request identification via e-mail, include a phone number so a museum staff member can contact you to arrange payment.

Also, please understand that while we are happy to help, answering requests is just one of many duties of the Museum staff and often involves some research and/or consultation. While we can often respond within a week, please allow up to 4 weeks for a response. Your patience is appreciated.

Please note that we cannot give appraisals. We can, however, provide a list of Heisey dealers who advertise in our monthly newsletter and who can assist you in determining the value of your piece(s).
